Check out the 100 plus-year-old Alvin Historical Train Depot Centre, which once was the hub for business and agriculture, and served the Santa Fe Rail Line. This facility was built in 1907, and the exterior and interior have been renovated. Rental of the Historic Depot Centre and Clock Tower grounds are available. This space is right next to National Oak Park. This 8-acre park is home to the Rotary Pavilion (40′ x 80′), National Oak Tree, the origination of the Hike & Bike Trail, seven other covered pavilions with picnic tables, a swing set, two drinking fountains, and a playground.
