Pick Your Own Strawberries

Pick your own strawberries at Froberg’s Farm is happening now! Check their website or Facebook page for specific dates and times. Starting March 7th the farm will be featuring attractions on weekends such as: their infamous Bee Coaster, Emoji Cannon, Friendly Fires, Duck Races, Mining Sluice, Paint Ball Gallery, and Berry Fun Land. Light the Night Disc Golf Tournament

The Alvin Noon Lions Club Inaugural Light the Night Disc Golf Tournament will be held on March 6th & 7th from 6:00pm to 9:00pm at Briscoe Park. This newly opened course is one of the first lighted courses in the country. Come out and learn how to play the game of disc golf while you and your family enjoy food trucks, music, beer garden, and a bounce house!

Alvin Music Festival & Cook-Off

The Alvin Music Festival & Cook-Off is the biggest music concert in Alvin and is hosted by the Alvin Sunrise Rotary Club. This three day festival features 9 bands, a sanctioned cook-off, food trucks, and a kids zone. The festival kicks off on Friday, March 26th at 6:oopm at Briscoe Park. Depot Market Days

The City of Alvin’s Parks and Recreation Department will be hosting the spring Alvin Depot Market Days on Saturday, April 4th at the Alvin Historical Train Depot. This farmers market will host a variety of different vendors and will be open from 9:00AM to 4:00PM. Come out and do some spring shopping!

27th Annual Tour de Braz Recommended Ride

Take a ride through Brazoria County in the 27th Annual Tour de Braz bike ride, hosted by the Alvin Convention & Visitors Bureau. This recommended ride offers 5 non-competitive routes – 10, 34, 50, 65, & 100 miles. Come out with the entire family on Sunday, April 5th at Alvin Community College. The ride kicks off at 8:00AM and finishes around 4:00PM, don’t miss out on the live music, pizza and beer garden at the Post-Ride After Party at Briscoe Park! 46th Annual Frontier Day

The 46th Annual Frontier Day celebration starts on Thursday, April 23rd and last till Saturday, April 25th. The Alvin Rotary Club hosts this festival every year featuring a carnival, car show, and parade. Bring the family and enjoy some live music, good food, and art & crafts; plus you can enter for a chance to win a 2020 Dodge Pick-up! More information is available at alvinrotary.org.

Alvin Art Walk 2020

The Alvin Art Walk is back on Saturday, May 2nd. Come enjoy an art stroll down Alvin’s famous Gordon Street and meet artists who are displaying their wares and unique art. The art walk will also feature live art demonstrations and have food trucks. The Alvin Area Art Society is accepting applications for booth set-ups!
