Froberg’s Farm Holiday Light Tour

Froberg’s Farm Winter Festival features a Holiday Light Tour which offers a walk through of over 400,000 lights. They are offering wristbands this season that includes the walk through of lights, a lighted trailer ride, and access to their Berry Fun Land.

The Winter Festival also features an opportunity to take photos with Santa, roast marshmallows or make your own s’more at their fire pits, cookie and ornament decorating, and many more outdoor activities.

Home for the Holidays Light Parade

Alvin Parks and Recreation presents Home for the Holidays December 6th and 7th. The light parade will be held at 6:00 PM on December 7th

Come and enjoy this nighttime parade filled with twinkling lights and holiday cheer. They invite any and all participants to enter a float, car, horse or motorcycle, deadline for entry is December 3rd.

The parade begins on W. Sealy St. and heads to S. Johnson St. then to W. Adoue St. on to S. Gordon St. and ends back on W. Sealy St.

Rec the Halls Holiday Light Tour

The first ever Rec the Halls Holiday Light Tour begins December 6th and lasts through the holiday season. Residents upload their dazzling holiday lights to be a part of the self-guided holiday light map. To take the tour you go to the City of Alvin’s Parks and Recreation’s web page and find the light map. The tour allows you to go at your own pace with a map already created for you.

If you have a favorite home, then enter them as your fan favorite on the city’s web page!

If you are interested in having your home featured on the light map, then upload your photos to the Parks and Recreation page and choose a category that your home falls under along with dates and times that your home display will be on.

The Christmas Train

The Christmas Train at Victory Camp is an epic train ride that takes you through over 300,000 lights and hundreds of Christmas decorations. Colorful gingerbread villages, penguin snow lands and life size storybook illustrations are all some of the scenes you and your family will experience along the way.

The train departs every 7-10 minutes, you can purchase your tickets before hand from their website
