Alvin Restaurant Weeks is an event where restaurants offer specialty dishes, highlight their signature dish, or create a menu, so customers can try many different types of food that may normally not see or think to try.
We are excited to announce Alvin Restaurant Weeks, an annual event to support Alvin Food Pantry. From June 16th – July 2nd, local restaurants will be offering special breakfast, lunch, and dinner deals that will help raise funds for this important local organization. Participating restaurants will be making donations based on their chosen level of participation. We invite you to join us in supporting Alvin Food Pantry by enjoying a delicious meal and contributing to a great cause!

Gordon Street Tavern
One of Alvin's eldest relics, over 100 years of history lie within the walls of the Gordon Street Tavern. Once a main intersection for the hustle and bustle of the tiny town deemed Alvin, Texas - Circa 1881. Sit back, relax and enjoy the atmosphere while indulging in one of their acclaimed specialty drinks, a deliciously silky stout or sink your teeth into one of their world famous burgers or sandwiches. For every order of their special, Go Pig or Go Home, which is a fall of the bone-tender Heritage Farms Berkshire pork short ribs served with their famous truffle mac-n-cheese a percentage will go to the Alvin Food Pantry. Another item they will donate a percentage of is the Bubble Trouble, a dessert drink that is a twisted on an Affogato coffee. It has Gordon Street Tavern's cold brew coffee blended with Kahlua, Bailey's, and cream in a chocolate-swirled glass served with a brown sugar boba popsicle.
